Visit to Nyandarua Prisons Inspires Hope, Discipline, and Positive Change

Some of our staff members and trainees visited Nyandarua Prisons, where they held an interactive and impactful
session with the inmates. The visit aimed to offer emotional support, share life skills, and foster a sense of hope and purpose
among those incarcerated.

The peer counsellors, led by Madam Purity Mberia, delivered inspiring messages of encouragement — reminding the
inmates that it is never too late to change and rebuild their lives positively. Their compassionate presence helped create a
supportive atmosphere for reflection and growth.

Officers from the Kenya Prison Service also engaged with our staff and trainees, emphasizing the importance of
respecting and upholding the law. They outlined the consequences of breaking the law and highlighted how discipline, integrity,
and strong moral values help build a just and orderly society. Their insights reinforced the message of responsible citizenship.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed basic personal hygiene supplies for the inmates. Your generosity brought smiles and
comfort, making the visit even more meaningful and impactful.
