A team from Nyandarua National Polytechnic conducted a tree planting exercise at Gatimu Secondary School in support of the Government directive of planting 15 billion trees by the year 2032 and in line with the Greening TVET Initiative.
The event was attended by the Assistant County Commissioner (ACC), members of the local administration, parents, staff, and trainees. The exercise was successful, with a total of 1,300 trees planted, demonstrating commitment to environmental conservation, sustainability, and climate change mitigation.
